He tutored me online, which was way easier and more effective than I thought it could be. I started with a score of 31, and after 11 one-hour sessions, I took the ACT and got a 34, which was my target score. I was even able to score a perfect 36 on the science section, which was a 29 before I had started tutoring. The testing strategies he teaches are extremely helpful and effective, and he explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. I totally recommend him if you are trying to see notable changes in your ACT score!”

"I had Meeraj for ACT tutoring. Before I started, I was largely unmotivated for standardized testing. There were only a few weeks before my test date, and I had never touched a prep book or used a tutor before. My first diagnostic practice test, I scored a 31, struggling especially in science and reading. I had no idea how to write the ACT essay, either. My mom (mothers are always right!) had the ingenious idea of getting a tutor. At first, I was skeptical of online tutoring. But, after working with Meeraj, I learned extremely useful strategies that helped improve my score immensely. He also provided great resources--practice tests, sample workbook pages, and more! On my test date, I scored a perfect 36 and an 11/12 on the essay. That was an improvement of 5 points! And, I know I wouldn't have gotten there if it weren't for Meeraj's strategies and personable teaching style. If you're struggling, I don't think there's a better ACT tutor out there!"

My first ACT, I recieved a composite score of 30. I found Meeraj online and started prep'ing with him online the next week. After a total of 8 sessions and 14 hours, studying on all four test sections, my next composite score was 34. After a four-month break, I decided I wanted to take the test one more time, focusing only on math. I did three one-hour sessions & my third and final test had a math score of 35, and a raw composite score of 35. My superscored composite is now a 36. Meeraj is a fast teacher and is great at explaining intuitive strategies, complex topics, and giving advice on how to tackle test-taking and develop problem solving skills. His tutelage made all the difference in my score and my confidence in my abilities. I recommend him to every friend I have, and would happily return if I ever need to take another standardized test. :)

“My mom searched through a lot of tutors before she finally found Meeraj to tutor me for the ACT and arranged times for us to meet. I met with Meeraj for for 6 hours of tutoring altogether. He has a really in-depth knowledge of the material, and I found his specialized techniques for every question type (math, grammar, even reading and science, which I used to think were unteachable in that way) really fast and easy to learn and use. My big weaknesses on the test were timing/pacing and Reading (and to a lesser extent, Science). Meeraj provided me with tons of practice tests (including some of the most recent exams), and recommended a lot of cool resources such as calculator programs for the Math and a special watch for the Reading and Science. I found that these tools helped immensely with timing and pacing during my practice tests AND on my actual test day. He also had some really useful tips for how to manage my time and approach the sections. On the tests I took for him, I scored 33's, 34's and 35's overall. His scoring was very accurate, because on the official test I scored a 34 Composite (34 English, 35 Math, 35 Reading, and 33 Science). I was especially thrilled with the Reading score, because as I mentioned, that (along with Science) was my weakest section. I now feel so confident taking the ACT, that I think I will take it once more to see if I can get an even higher score! I totally recommend Meeraj for anyone who needs a straightforward, economical, and focused approach to their ACT prep.”
